Not what it use to be. When I went the people were very rude, made me feel terrible for reaching out and it is no longer kid friendly apparently, so if you decide to go DONT take your kids. Theyll just tell you multiple different things and try to tell you to keep your children in the main building ALONE while you go to get clothes and stuff with no actual adult supervision or they try to keep the kids in these small little play areas and they apparently cant pick out toys on their own anymore. Sad to think I use to go and volunteer there a lot..I use to leave there feeling great, lets just say this time it made me never want to go back there again let alone volunteer there again! Everything given to me as far as food went was expired by 3 days, had mold and the can goods were expired by a whole 2 yrs. Only 2 corn cans were good. Hygiene bag had old hairspray in it, 2 very large pads, 3 small bars of hotel soap and dried out conditioner and shampoo. This is places standards and kindness has dropped very low, very sad.
